Advanced Dental Technology Chicago

Creating Convenient & Comfortable Experiences

Dr. Rosen believes in providing a higher level of care to his patients, which is why he regularly seeks out advanced dental technologies. In our office, you may see many devices that may be unfamiliar to you that are designed to create a more comfortable and convenient experience. From our high-resolution cone beam scanner to our in-house 3D printer, 3D digital scanner, soft tissue laser, and more, we make it easy to receive wide-ranging dental care and save time without compromising on quality.

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

With the help of our Planmeca CT/Cone Beam Scanner, we can offer more proactive diagnostics and better prepare for your upcoming dental implant placement, root canal, or another similarly complex procedure. To achieve successful results, we must first capture a comprehensive and high-resolution image of your head and mouth – both of which are clearly visible thanks to the 3D model that’s generated by this device. Dr. Rosen can then analyze and plan accordingly so that you experience a more effective and efficient procedure.

3D Printer

Dentists often rely on dental labs to produce all types of restorations and oral appliances (i.e., dental crowns, veneers, mouthguards, etc.). While Dr. Rosen does rely on these expert technicians for some forms of treatment, he is pleased to provide a more convenient option for creating teeth whitening trays and customized nightguards. Using our advanced 3D printer, he can quickly fabricate these devices himself so that you can begin enjoying their benefits much sooner.

Digital Impressions

Instead of making patients bite down on cold dental putty to produce a mold, Dr. Rosen uses a more comfortable and patient-friendly solution – iTero digital impressions. By carefully scanning your teeth and bite with its handheld, camera-tipped device, you both can watch a three-dimensional model of your smile appear on a chairside monitor. This approach is faster, more comfortable, and much less messy than the traditional way, plus it also gives him and local lab technicians a higher-quality model to use.

We take pride in being ahead of the industry, taking wellness scans once a year to monitor gingival health, tooth wear, and alignment. Dr. Rosen firmly believes that monitoring changes in dental health will become the standard of care in the years to come as a first line of defense to help prevent issues before they become more serious.

Soft Tissue Laser

With the help of our Biolase soft tissue laser, Dr. Rosen can easily clean and decontaminate gum tissue struggling with infection. Its concentrated beam of light precisely targets problem areas of bacteria, plaque, and tartar while being gentle and dramatically reducing postoperative symptoms like swelling, bleeding, and soreness. It can also be used to contour the gumline so that it appears more balanced and aesthetically pleasing in a single appointment.

Intraoral Camera

Detecting decay in its earliest stages minimizes the potential need for more advanced procedures in the future. With our intraoral camera, Dr. Rosen can scan your mouth in real time with images being broadcast to a chairside monitor, making it easy to examine your teeth, gums, and more. Using this device is not only beneficial in providing timelier diagnoses but also makes it straightforward for him to explain what he’s seeing and why he might be recommending certain treatments.
