New Dental Patient Information Chicago
Step Into Your New Smile Confidently
Rosen Dental is here to guide you as you journey toward better oral and overall health. What might seem like a practice that is solely devoted to your smile, Dr. Rosen and our team believe in delivering a more comprehensive experience that considers how your dental wellness affects your total well-being. But before we can begin this process, we want you to have everything you need to ensure a successful first visit. Keep reading below and call us if you have any questions.
Your First Visit

Your first visit will be tailored to your unique needs, as we’ll decide whether you need a comprehensive or limited examination--this will determine how we will proceed for the rest of your appointment. Be sure to let us know if you (or your family member) would prefer to speak Spanish during the appointment - we have multiple team members who are fluent!
All new patients will undergo radiographs (i.e., digital panoramic X-rays, full mouth series, etc.), full mouth probing with gum charting, an iTero scan, and extraoral imaging.
If you appear to be in good oral health, one of our hygienists will begin to clean your teeth and gums to remove hardened plaque and tartar. However, if gum disease is present, Dr. Rosen will perform his examination first. His evaluation will include reviewing your radiographs, iTero scan, and going over the problem areas he observes. Afterward, he will conduct an intraoral examination as well as a TMJ exam, oral cancer screening, airway screening, and cavity/periodontal evaluation.
To complete the process, Dr. Rosen will go over his findings with you and discuss possible treatment options.
Dental Insurance

Rosen Dental is pleased to accept and file all claims for PPO dental insurance. This ensures that all the necessary paperwork is filled out correctly so that you have the best chance to receive the maximum reimbursement. If you have questions about how we can help you save, don’t hesitate to call our office.
In-House Dental Savings Plan

If you don’t have dental insurance, there is still a way to save at every appointment at Rosen Dental. Our in-house savings plan is an excellent, low-cost alternative that is much less than a traditional policy while offering the same level of benefit. You just pay a flat annual fee to gain access to a year’s worth of preventive care as well as a discount on all other services (including many not covered by insurance). To learn more about how it works and sign up, just give our team a call today.
In-House Financing

As an option, we also offer payment plans in-house that give easier access to care to more patients that might be in need, all without having to go through the hassle of applying for a credit card or having their credit checked.
